 ARTIST in MOTION – YES, I am!
As ULiSSA, the mobile artist, I love to travel and am actually “always on call.” My mobile studio can be anywhere: in a café, while traveling and on the beach, or in the middle of the hustle and bustle - whether at Piccadilly Circus, live at classic car rallies, or at concerts.
TRAVELLING - my way inspiration works...
I prefer to create my travel sketches and watercolor impressions plein air and spontaneously on site (Amsterdam, Essaouira, Istanbul, Lisbon, London, Paris, Prague, London, Burano, Aix-en-Provence, on Ischia and Tenerife, in Morocco, Portugal, and again and again in Greece/Mani) ... so that I can then appreciate local motifs such as beer gardens, lakes, squares, churches, villages, and traditions with “fresh eyes” back home on Lake Ammersee.
STYLE - graphic, representational, spontaneous
My paintings contain moments captured on the fly. The formal capture is like an intense experience through a brush or pen.
THEMES - Travel impressions, urban/architecture, landscape & nature, coffee art, sculpture quotes, nude/portrait, customs in acrylic, objects & textiles/art to wear, mobiles of all kinds...

In 1990, I discovered my passion for classic cars and since then I have been attending rallies, meetings, and trade fairs, portraying all kinds of vehicles LIVE for others to experience: from Vespas to airplanes and old steam engines, old/youngtimers, classic & racing cars - also as commissioned works.
